Scented Scratch-and-Sniff Label
The shelf gets a second sense to work with.
A scented label carrying millions of microencapsulated fragrance beads in a varnish layer. Rubbing the panel ruptures the capsules and releases the scent; unrubbed capsules stay sealed, so the label keeps working for a year on shelf. Any fragrance can be matched, including a customer's own product scent, and food-safe grades are available for packaging in direct contact with food.
